Narrative

Textual Source: Non-narrative
Mythological Tale: Krishna is the ninth avatara of avatara or incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He was born in order to eliminate asuras including Kamsa from the earth. Kamsa was Krishna's uncle who was bent on destroying the child and sent many asuras with an aim to murder Krishna. Krishna escaped all of Kamsa's murder attempts and went on to slay him. The infant form of Krishna is worshipped across India, across the world. He is known for his mischievous yet loving nature.
