She is wearing a white saree with golden border and is depicted as embracing Subramanya.

Narrative

Textual Source: Non-narrative
Mythological Tale: Subramanya, also known as Devasenapati, is the son of Shiva and Parvati. He is also known as Karthikeya, Muruga, or Velayudha. Devasena is his wife. In some different versions of Subramanya's story, he has two wives Valli and Devayani. He is always depicted sitting atop his mount, the peacock, and holding a vel or spear in his hands.
